Highway to Nansha: Zhongshan is in the early process of building a highway linking to Guangzhou’s Nansha district, which would be an extension of the cross-bay Shenzhen-Zhongshan channel.

IP work begins: Shenzhen has begun amending its laws dedicated to protecting intellectual property in the city and has laid out a framework for firmly punishing violations of IP rights in the GBA.

Guangzhou eases: Guangzhou has removed all restrictions on buying commercial properties in the city, waiving the ban on selling to individuals and the requirement on minimum floor area, in a sign of the need to boost the city’s property market. It is the first of the country’s four tier-one cities to do so. Chinanews
