While Shenzhen tightens up on data flow, Dongguan seems to be still publishing its own housing numbers. June data shows average new home prices at RMB20,195 per sqm, the second consecutive month for the city’s average new home prices breaking the RMB20,000 per sqm mark.
Among the total sales, 37% were above RMB20,000 per square meter, 49% were between RMB15,000-RMB20,000 per square meter, 14% below the RMB15,000 per square meter.
Online sales accounted for 4,962 new homes, up 21.68% from the previous month. The total floorspace sold equated to 554,900 sqm, up 19.69% from the previous month.
