Huizhou district cuts 7 months to 1

Huizhou’s Huicheng district recently released a set of measures to minimize the approval procedure for industrial projects, allowing developers to launch construction work as soon as the land auction has been won. The new policy also separates the technical examination and the administrative examination, shortening the approval time down to 20 days.

Before the policy revamp, developers had to obtain a license to use the land first, which normally took more than four months, followed by a technical and administrative examination that lasted another three months. The new policy compresses the whole process within one month.
