Hong Kong-listed real-estate giant China Aoyuan Group (3883.HK) will officially move its headquarters from downtown Guangzhou to the new Wanbo area of the city’s Panyu district at the end of this month. It will bring along two of the group’s listed companies, China Aoyuan Group and Aoyuan Healthy Life Group.
As one of the largest property developers in China, Aoyuan Group generates more than RMB100 billion in sales each year from its real estate business as well as other secondary business groups. These include healthcare, tourism and culture, and science, which will also move to the Wanbo area in stages.
The new 1.5-square-kilometer Wanbo area has convenient transportation links, with two railway lines and multiple highways. It has now attracted many Fortune 500 and listed companies, including Cisco, Ctrip, and Huya.
